I travel around 150,000 miles a year. I have conditioned myself to sleep on planes, however getting comfortable is usually the challenge. Those horseshoe neck pillows are garbage and not even remotely comfortable.
I purchased yet another contraption claiming to be the “Ultimate travel pillow.” Well, the good people at Travelrest FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT. Yes, it somewhat resembles an awkwardly shaped blow up hammer, but it is absolutely amazing.
The contour of the pillow allows for natural suspension of your head and neck. The size of the pillow allows for a near perfect fits between your seat and window of the plane.
I recently used this pillow on the following flights:
- Economy class from Atlanta to Tokyo (12.5 hours)
- Economy class from Tokyo to Singapore (7 hours)
- Economy class from Singapore to Tokyo (7 hours)
- Business class from Tokyo to Detroit (11 hours)
Even though I flew business from Tokyo to Detroit, I still chose the Traverest pillow over the supplied pillows – It’s seriously THAT amazing.
It deflates and stores in my carry on bag and is now a necessity every time I travel! It’s $30 and [honestly] I didn’t expect much, wow was I surprised!
