In flight

  • Standard seat - I affectionately call it the Delta couch. It's a larger recliner seat with nice padding, increased width and decent pitch. Most first class will be on narrow body jets in a 2-2 configuration, however there are some regional jets in a 1-2 and widebody jets configured in 2-2-2.
  • Complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages - Coke products and an assortment of snacks (Pretzels, peanuts, cookies, chips, brownie bites, fruit, etc).
  • Beer, Wine, Spirits available - All complimentary. Most flights include pre-flight and in-flight service.
  • In-seat power available on some flights - Most jets have 110V power between the recliners.
  • In-flight entertainment - Planes equipped with seat-back entertainment are useful. Otherwise you'll need to use your phone/tablet to connect to the in-flight entertainment system. There's a variety of movies, TV shows and music.
  • Pillow/Blanket - The pillow is small and the good 'ole red Delta blank is awkwardly sized for normal sized people and almost see through. You'll probably need two blanks.
  • Amenity/sleep kit - Provided on longer flights and overnight flights.
