Red Rocks Amphitheater

Off to see a concert in Colorado at the Red Rocks Amphitheater.  It is nestled between the Great Plains and the foot hills of the Rocky Mountains, the area’s natural topography and stunning beauty make this place one of the coolest outdoor concert venues I have ever visited.

Red Rocks Amphitheater

I found myself at Red Rocks for the very first time at a Primus concert and immediately fell in love with the ambiance, location and Denver skyline off to the east.

Looking to take in a show at Red Rocks?  If you’re not from the area, it’s very easy to get there.  The venue is 45 minutes from the airport on the western edge of town – just before the Rocky Mountain foothills.

There isn’t much to criticize about Red Rocks, with the exception that I wish this place was open throughout the year.

All of the normal expectations of overpriced food and drinks hold true at Red Rocks, but become less noticeable with the amount of fun you’ll have there!

Red Rocks keeps busy throughout their concert season, event schedule can be found here.
